Certificate
You’ll receive an Adelaide Beauty Academy certificate of completion upon successfully passing your final assessment.
On The Day
Please wear black clothes, enclosed shoes and your hair up (if possible). You can bring lunch but most of our students go across the road to get lunch at Subway, Café Primo or Sushi Train.
Models
Due to the nature of this course and to protect the integrity of your model’s skin, each model can only be used once throughout the entire duration of the course.
Payment
All enrolments must be made online. Enrolments require a deposit to secure your seat. The remainder of the payment can be processed through card, cash or bank transfer. We also have Afterpay and Zippay.
Rescheduling
If you reschedule within 24hrs we can move you into the next available class at no cost, if this class date does not suit you and you require an alternative date, you will be charged an administration fee of $100.

What is intimate waxing?
Intimate waxing is the removal of hair on the genitals using wax. The hair is more coarse, dense and grows in many different directions so requires expertise to safely and thoroughly remove the hair. As you can imagine, it is quite a sensitive area so it is important to use techniques that minimise pain, ensure client comfort and follows the clients personal preference.
What is the difference between Bikini, Brazilian and XXX waxing?
Bikini removes all hair outside of the underwear line. Brazilian removes all hair from the front of the pubic area, or as desired by the client, as they may like a ‘landing strip’ or a small amount of hair left. XXX removes all hair from the area, including the anus.
How long does intimate waxing last?
Results typically last for 4 weeks up to 6 weeks depending on age, medications and ethnicity. After 4 weeks, the hair will grow back as normal and you can have the area waxed again.
How long should a standard Brazilian or XXX appointment take?
Depending on experience and wax used, a typical appointment can take 30-45minutes.
Does the client need to do anything before the appointment?
Yes, the client should be freshly showered and ideally not on their period for hygiene reasons and pain tolerance. Disposable underwear and a fresh wipe is provided at the appointment.
Is it painful?
We aim to use techniques to reduce the pain, however as it is a sensitive area, it can be slightly uncomfortable. The first treatment is the worst but as the hairs become softer the treatments are less painful.
