Master Professional Face and Body Waxing
Our Face and Body Waxing Course provides comprehensive, hands-on training in both facial and full-body waxing techniques. You’ll master the use of strip and hot wax to achieve smooth, hair-free results while learning how to select the right waxing method for different areas and hair types. The course also covers essential pre- and post-waxing care, including skin preparation, aftercare advice, and strategies to ensure maximum client comfort and minimal irritation.
At Adelaide Beauty Academy, all of our training is delivered one-on-one, allowing you to receive personalised guidance and feedback at every step. We’re incredibly flexible, you can spread your training over multiple days or weeks, and we can even come to your clinic or salon for convenience.
This two-day course is perfect for beauty professionals or students looking to add or refresh their waxing skills and expand their treatment offerings. If you already have prior experience in certain areas, we can customise your training to focus only on what you need.
Please note that Adelaide Beauty Academy is not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Our courses are industry-recognised, designed for professionals who value practical, results-based education that translates directly into the salon environment.

Face and Full Body Waxing Techniques

Strip Wax vs. Hot Wax
Understand the differences between strip and hot wax, including when and how to use each method for optimal results on different areas of the body and various hair types.
Pre and Post-Waxing Care

Occupational Health & Safety
Learn essential OH&S practices to maintain a safe and professional working environment, ensuring both practitioner and client safety during waxing procedures.

Pre-Requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Certificate
You’ll receive an Adelaide Beauty Academy certificate of completion upon successfully passing your final assessment.
On The Day
Please wear black clothes, enclosed shoes and your hair up (if possible). You can bring lunch but most of our students go across the road to get lunch at Subway, Café Primo or Sushi Train.
Models
Due to the nature of this course and to protect the integrity of your model’s skin, each model can only be used once throughout the entire duration of the course.
Payment
All enrolments must be made online. Enrolments require a deposit to secure your seat. The remainder of the payment can be processed through card, cash or bank transfer. We also have Afterpay and Zippay.
Rescheduling
If you reschedule within 24hrs we can move you into the next available class at no cost, if this class date does not suit you and you require an alternative date, you will be charged an administration fee of $100.

After this course you’ll be ready wax professionally, either from home or in a salon.

Do we learn using both types of wax?
Yes, we teach using both hot and strip wax (as there are benefits to both).
What do I need to purchase to start waxing?
Wax pots for both hot and strip wax, strip wax, hot wax, wax strips, pre wax, after wax, wax sticks in a variety of sizes, bed roll, disposable hair nets, disposable g-strings, disposable gloves and disposable masks. We provide everything you need during your class.
What body parts will I learn to wax?
You will learn to wax eyebrows, lip, face, arms, legs, bikini and underarms.
How long should I allow for different body parts?
Eyebrows (30 minutes)
