Pre-Requisites
Cert III in Beauty Services, Facial Fundamentals or RPL.
Certificate
You’ll receive an Adelaide Beauty Academy Certificate of completion upon successfully passing your final assessment.
On The Day
Please wear black clothes, enclosed shoes and your hair up (if possible). You can bring lunch but most of our students go across the road to get lunch at Subway, Café Primo or Sushi Train.
Models
On the day of the course, you will have ample opportunities to practice the theory and facial components of the course with the guidance and assistance from your trainer. A model can only be used once over the period of the course.
Payment
All enrolments must be made online. Enrolments require a deposit to secure your seat. The remainder of the payment can be processed through card, cash or bank transfer. We also have Afterpay and Zippay.
Rescheduling
If you reschedule within 24hrs we can move you into the next available class at no cost, if this class date does not suit you and you require an alternative date, you will be charged an administration fee of $100.
Where To Next?
After this course you’ll be ready to provide Gua Sha treatments either from home or in a salon.
Many students go on to learn Advanced Facials or Massage Fundamentals.

What is Gua Sha?
Gua Sha is a technique that involves using a smooth, flat tool, such as amethyst, jade or rose quartz, to scrape the skin. The firm pressure applied during the treatment helps to increase blood flow and circulation, which can improve the health and appearance of the skin.
